No-Sew Turtles; A Small Idea, But With Many Possibilities

After my 3 week Easter break, a new collection has been added! This collection includes no-sew turtles with many different designs.

These turtles don't require you to sew on anything, hence the name 'no-sew'. Therefore, they're part of my small products, because they're quick and simple to make. Also, there is a free amigurumi pattern of a no-sew speckled turtle. Click here, to access the pattern.

Now, this collection may not sound much, but I realised that I can make so many designs. For example, I can go from abstract designs, to flowery designs for this spring and summer. In fact, I could even make designs for this autumn and winter, even though that's months away.

Speckled Turtles

This set is not only part of this collection, but also part of the 5-Colour collection. This image shows 5 different turtles, with contrasting colours and complementary colours in small areas.

Flower Turtles

These turtles are slightly different to the speckled turtles, except the edge of their shells is shaped like a flower. Also, making their shells doesn't require me to change yarn colours as much.

Ice Cream Turtles

These turtles have more of a complex design than the others, which is why they're slightly more expensive. As you can see in the image below, they're shells have been crocheted differently, to make it look like an ice cream cone is sticking out of them. Also, the shell edges have got more of a ruffled effect.

As long as I make sure not to sew on anything, I hope to come up with more designs for this collection in the future!
