Head/Body

Note: This piece is done in continuous rounds (except for rounds 9-10). I recommend you use a stitch marker to keep track of where you start each round.
Start on the head with black
Round 1: 5dc in mr (5 sts)
Round 2: [inc] x5 (10 sts)
Round 3: [dc, inc] x5 (15 sts)
Round 4: [dc, inc, dc] x5 (20 sts)
Note: Prepare to change yarn colours on rounds 5-8. Always make sure you insert your hook into the final st of the current colour. For example, on your last st before the colour change, pull through the last 2 loops with your new yarn colour. You end that st with one loop of the new colour on the hook, but it should still appear to the old colour.

When you get to the bolded text, crochet in white yarn
Round 5: 6dc, 3dc, 2dc, 3dc, 6dc (20 sts)
Round 6: 6dc, 4dc, dc, 4dc, 5dc (20 sts)
Round 7: 6dc, 9dc, 5dc (20 sts)

Round 10: skip over ss, dc in ch, 6dc, make 5tr bobble, 11dc, make 5tr bobble, 4dc (24 sts)
Rounds 11-12 (2 rounds): 24dc (24 sts)
Add more or unravel sts, depending on your tension
Note: To change yarn colour with the bobble stitch, yo with your next yarn colour, before pulling through all the loops on the hook.

When you get to the bolded text, crochet in citron yarn
Round 13: 8dc, make 5tr bobble, 11dc, make 5tr bobble, 3dc (24 sts)
